Hello and welcome to "Bloom Where You Grow".

My name is Lisa Friedman and I'm a real estate agent with Village Real Estate. I live in Sylvan Park with my 2 boys.

I wanted to build a site that would highlight some of my passions: gardening and green living in particular. I'd like to encourage gardeners to share their knowledge and extra plants. I'd like to be provide information to people who care about our planet.

Am I a gardening expert? Well, no. Gardening, to me, is more about passion than success. Every year I get to start over and watch new blooms grow. Some things will have gotten too big and I'm anxious to share my plenty; some things won't have worked and I'll be filling those spots with new tries. I'm looking forward to hearing what you have learned in your gardening journey.

Am I a green expert? Well, no. I do my little bit and try to add new bits when I can. If we all do a little bit, we'll all be better off for it. Check out my Guide To Living Green links; send me suggestions of others that you find.
